Zimala Review: The first thing you notice about Vertical Ventures is getting there and thinking “I have to be in the wrong place” surrounded by industrial buildings. Once you enter Vertical Ventures though, its a whole different vibe. Rock climbing posters cover the walls, gear for sale, a friendly staff behind the desk more than willing to answer your questions and help you out if its your first time, make Vertical Ventures a must if your in the Tampa area and are looking for something active to do. The gym itself has top rope area’s, one sport climb route, and plenty of bouldering. The routes are interesting and challenging from the slight decline to the upper body killing overhangs. This reviewer will be going back and often.
