Zimala Review: While visiting the historical Ybor district in Tampa, check out the local buzz going on over on 9th avenue, only about 1/4 mile East of Centro Ybor. Indeed, their claim to fame is having the best tacos in Tampa, but many would argue that they’re the best in the Southeast. We here at Zimala agreed, and so they get our praises as well as a spot on the Featured Business section. An independent restaurant whose owner is the grandchild of the great Mema who learned how to make these great tacos in 1950’s Alaska. Using no preservatives, Mema’s tacos have an extremely fresh and fulfilling taste if there ever was one in the world of tacos. Pair your food with over 30 beers to choose from and over 20 soft drinks.
